Their journey was not without challenges. In 1996, they organized the iconic Michael Jackson concert in Mumbai, a bold and ambitious endeavour that, despite setbacks, demonstrated their capability to handle world-class events. This event cemented their reputation as pioneers in the Indian event management industry.
In 2000, they conceptualized and launched the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA). IIFA became a global celebration of Indian cinema, taking Bollywood to international audiences and setting new benchmarks in the world of entertainment.
Over the years, Wizcraft not only expanded into all major verticals of the event management industry but also played a pivotal role in defining them—shaping categories such as weddings, intellectual properties (IPs), sports events, MICE, corporate activations, social activations, amongst others. Recognized as one of the founding fathers of the Indian event management industry, Sabbas Joseph and Wizcraft embody the belief in the power of dreams—a philosophy that has driven decades of ground-breaking achievements.
What started as a humble initiative by three young dreamers has grown into a legacy that inspires countless entrepreneurs to take the leap and turn their passions into impactful ventures.
